Kan-reki is a limited edition lineup from Sailor's Professional Gear. This pen intended to celebrate the original designer and 'Sailor's pen's doctor' Mr. Kawaguchi 60th birthday. In Japanese culture, there is this culture of celebrating 60th birthday known as KANREKI or once a person has completed the 5 cycles of Jikkan Junishi, or a total of 60 years, he is to be born again, hence the Kanreki celebration. Red is the color most associated with birthdays in Japan and this PROGEAR KANREKI LE capture 3 shades of red beautifully to its barrel and cap. This pen are in almost like new condition, inked with fresh Sailor's ink cartridge intended for YouTube review videos and thoroughly cleaned. Complete with box, paper, documentation and unused 50ml of Sailor blue-black ink bottle.
