This is post 1992 Pelikan M400 Oldstyle, there are no cap band ring on the piston knob that indicates this is early M400 or Oldstyle M400. Pelikan switches engraving from W. German to German in around early 1992 after German Unification. Pen are never inked and still in new old stock condition, however there are some flaw seen on the barrel section (binde) slightly shrinking due to storage.
