Montblanc tributes to one of most influential writer/novelist in history, Fyodor Dostoevsky. Fyodor Dostoyevsky also spelled Dostoevsky, is one of the most influential western novelists of the nineteenth century. Most famous for the novels Crime and Punishment and The Brothers Karamazov, Dostoyevsky was a prolific writer who composed novellas, short stories and edited magazines. His other famous writings include Poor Folk, Notes from Underground, and The Idiot. He is famous for literary portrayals of psychological drama, redemption through suffering, the tension between faith and unbelief, and tragic-comic realism. Launched in 1997, the Montblanc Dostoevsky series is limited to 16,300 fountain pens, 7,300 ballpoint pens, 2,300 mechanical pencils, 6,300 rollerballs and 700 sets. This beautiful piece comes with original box & uninked almost in new old stock condition with nib sticker still attached to pen's barrel.
